Once you've got your camera and lens or two there are a few more things you're gonna need before you can go out and start shooting. Below is a list of the things I consider essential when going out on a shoot. I'll write a post on each of the items that need explaining after this one.
Camera - Quite obvious
Lens/Lenses - about as obvious
Memory Cards - you want lots of these
Extra Batteries - you want quite a few of these as well
Audio Recording - either a mic to plug in or a whole independent setup.
LCD Viewfinder - try getting focus on a wide shot without one.
Vari ND filter - if your shooting outside you need this.
Bag - in which to put things
Well after this very unhelpful post I will now break down what each of these does and the best ones to get.
